THE CUSTOMS AND EXCISE (REMISSION) (No. 6) ORDER, 1993.

1. This Order may be cited as the Customs and Excisse (Remission) (No. 6) Order, 1993, and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st October, 1992, and shall, unless earlier revoked, expire on the 31st December, 1995.

2. The whole of the import duty payable in respect of the plant, machinery, spare parts, motor vehicles, equipment and materials imported or purchased locally prior to clearance through customs between the 1st October, 1992 and 31st December, 1995 by M/s. China Complete Plant Export Corporation (COMPLANT) under written authority from the Treasury for construction of Taita/Taveta Teachers College is remitted but the appropriate rate of duty shall be payable on any plant, machinery, spare parts, motor vehicles, equipment and materials not utilized  in the project and not re-exported upon expiration of this Order.
