THE CUSTOMS AND EXCISE (REMISSION) (No. 14) ORDER, 1993

1. This Order may be cited as the Customs and Excise (Remission) (No. 14) Order, 1993 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 22nd February, 1992 and shall, unless earlier revoked, expire on the 30th September, 1995.

2. The whole of the import duty payable in respect of the equipment and materials imported or purchassed ex-customs bonded warehouse by the Kenya Posts and Telecommunications Corporation under written authority from the Permanent Secretary to the Treasury for the sole use in construction and equipping of the Kericho Standard A-Earth Station and International Switching System Project is remitted but appropriate rate of duty shall be payable on any equipment and material not utilized on the project and not re-exported upon the expiry of this Order.
