THE CUSTOMS AND EXCISE (REMISSION) (No. 15) ORDER, 1993

1. This Order may be cited as the Customs and Excise (Remission) (No. 15) Order, 1993 and shall deemed to have come into operation on the 1st January, 1990 and shall be deemed to have expired on the 30th September, 1992.

2. The whole of the import duty payable in respect of nine million tons of diesel, nineteen thousand tons of bitumen and twenty tons of oils and lubricants imported or purchased ex-customs bonded warehouse by M/s. Strabag BauAg Lima Limited under written authority of the Permanent Secretary to the Treasury, for use in the construction of the Timboroa-Eldoret Road is remitted but appropriate rate of duty shall be payable on the diesel, bitumen, oils and lubricants not utilized on the project upon exppiry of this Order.
