THE CUSTOMS AND EXCISE (REMISSION) (No. 18) ORDER, 1993

1. This Order may be cited as the Customs and Excise (Remission) (No. 18) Order, 1993, and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 30th September, 1992 and shall, unless earlier revoked, expire on the 31st August, 1994.

2. The whole of the import duty payable in respect of equipment, plant, machinery, vehicles, materials and spare parts, imported or purchased ex-customs bonded warehouse by M/s. Strabag Bau Ag Lima Limited under written authority of the Permanent Secretary to the Treasury, for the sole use in the construction of Timboroa-Eldoret Road is remitted but appropriate rate of duty shall be payable on the equipment, plant, machinery, vehicles, materials and spare parts not utilized on the project and not re-exported upon the expiry of this Order.
