THE CUSTOMS AND EXCISE (REMISSION) (No. 19) ORDER, 1993 1. This Order may be cited as the Customs and Excise (Remission) (No. 19) Order, 1993, and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st October, 1992 and shall, unless earlier revoked, expire on the 8th March, 1994. 2. The whole of the import duty payable in respect of the plant, machinery, equipment, materials, household and personal effects of expartriate staff, spare parts, motor vehicles, and related accessories imported or purchased ex-customs bonded warehouse by M.J. Gleeson International Limited between the 1st October, 1992 and the 31st March, 1994 pursuant to the Government of Kenya and M.J. Gleeson International Limited Agreement (Major Rehabilitation of Jomo Kenyatta Airport) dated June, 1990 under written authority from the Permanent Secretary to the Treasury, is remitted but appropriate rate of duty shall be payable on any plant, machinery, equipment, material, motor vehicles and related accessories not utilized in the major rehabilitation works of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and not re-exported upon the expiry of this Order.
