MUTUAL TARIFF CONCESSIONS-COMMON MARKET FOR EASTERN AND SOUTHERN AFRICA (COMESA)- Revoked by 156/2003

IN EXCERCISE of the powers conferred by section 118 of the Customs and Excise Act, the Minister for Finance declares that the duty payable on all goods imported from the Member States of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa specified in the first column of the Schedule thereto, shall be reduced by the percentage respectively specified in the second column of the Schedule:

Provided that-

(a)the goods specified in the Second Schedule hereto shall not be subject to reduction of duty; and

(b) such goods shall meet the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa Rules of Origin as contained in the Kinshasha protocal of June, 1995.
