THE CUSTOMS AND EXCISE (REMISSION) (No. 24) ORDER, 1993
1. This Order may be cited as the Customs and Excise (Remission) (No. 24) Order, 1993.
2. The whole of the import duty payable in respect of equipment imported or purchased ex-customs bonded warehouse by or on behalf of the United Nations Environmental Programme and their sub-contractors approved by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources between the 1st October, 1992 and 17th April, 1993 for the sole use in the construction of additional offices for United Nations, Gigiri, Nairobi, under written authority of the Permanent Secretary to the Treasury is remitted but appropriate rate of duty shall be payable on any equipment and materials not utilized in the project and not re-exported upon the expiry of this Order. |
