Subject to the provisions of subsection (3), a Minister may make regulations prescribing the fees to be levied for licences, permits and other acts, matters and things issued or performed by or in any public office.
(2)
Regulations under subsection (1) may make such provision in regard to exemption from and remission of fees as the Minister may think fit.
(3)
The provisions of subsection (1) shall not apply in the case of any matter in respect of which any other written law makes provision for the levying of a fee, or provides expressly that no fee shall be payable.

Repeal of Cap. 256
The Fees and Royalties Act (Cap. 256) is repealed.
